Tahoma Cooperative Preschool Board Members and Staff remain dedicated to our collective health, safety, and well-being while your children are under our care. We follow DOH and Tahoma School District health and safety guidelines.
Washington State Department of Health recently updated its health and safety requirements – effective March 12 – to coincide with Governor Inslee’s decision to lift the general indoor mask mandate:
Requirements and Guidance to Mitigate COVID-19 Transmission in K-12 Schools, Child Care, Early Learning, Youth Development, and Day Camp Programs (wa.gov) (published to the DOH website).
We require all staff and in-class working adults to be fully vaccinated.
We entrust our families to make healthy, informed decisions, which is why we not only stay apprised of, but share the guidance of medical experts, credible organizations, and trusted institutions. We recognize this process is dynamic, therefore we appreciate your patience and understanding as matters evolve:
We appreciate your flexibility and understanding and hope you feel reassured by our decisions. We believe our children thrive being back in the classroom, and our utmost responsibility remains their care and protection. You may reach out to Board Chair Danielle Ennis (chair@tahomapreschool.com) and/or our teachers should you have any questions or concerns regarding these policies.
